Well after the Shahan's left we chilled out for a little bit then hit the boardwalk in Rehoboth with the Lorrhfink's. This was Eric's favorite part he told me later. We ate out at the famous Grotto's pizza, followed with lots of fun rides. Peyton especially loves rides like this but usually at the fair they're so expensive.... even at amusement parks... just pricey. Well..... these rides were dirt cheap! It was soooo wonderful! We spent $25 for 100 tickets and all the ones that Peyton were riding were only 1 ticket. Of course we didn't have enough time to use all our tickets!! Unlimited rides.... pretty much paradise for young kids!

Peyton could've gone on all night with those rides but we finally pulled the plug since Sadie was getting sick of it all. The Lorrhfink's have a finished attic and it worked out perfectly to sleep in for us. It stayed really dark even throughout the morning. So BINGO, the kids slept in every morning! They also had these sweet my comfort/foamy mattresses. They bought them just for the attic sleepers! So comfy and nice!!!
The next morning we slept in, ate some good breakfast then ventured out. We found some sweet awesome horseshoe crabs!!! They were huge!
Then we headed to the marina to look at all the ships and boats and watch them clean the catches of teh day. The marina was really beautiful.... I've never been to one before and I really enjoyed walking up and down the docks taking everything in.
At this point in our vacation..... the lack of naptimes and sleep for Sadie was getting to her. Can't you tell?
This little guy brought a tear to my eye quite frequently. He is so sweet! The Lorrhfink's sure have had their fair share of challenges in life! But they've been blessed with this perfect, sweet little guy! I have to wake up in the middle of the night to give Sadie a bottle and sometimes it gets a little old...... me just wanting a full night's sleep. It's all perspective though. Little Jason Lorrhfink wakes up around the same time as Sadie every night but instead of a bottle, they plug his food in him. He's got a feeding tube in his stomach that his formula goes through. Soemthing as simple as a cold for Sadie can be fatal for this little guy! The Lorrhfink's practically live at the hospital, all while the husband was deployed for awhile, their other daughter is getting different surgeries for her cleft palate/lip, and she's a business owner, etc. They've got their plates full! But what an example they are..... they were opening their home up to us for our beach trip so selflessly! They have optimism in and through everything! Tonight and hopefully every night, I will feed that little girl of mine with more cheer. Have more patience and be more grateful! For life is short and good health should'nt be taken for granted! I'm sooooo grateful and blessed!!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful weekend with the fam!!!!! We've got wonderful friends, and some more memories to put in our hearts!!!
