I love love love October so we packed it full with all kinds of fun going ons. We went to a cornmaze with friends followed with choosing our own pumpkins in the pumkin patch. These friends that we went with, Wolfes, and Pitts..... we started doing fhe's together once a week. General Conference..... Love it!!! We went for long walks between sessions, made pumkin rice krispy treats, caramel apples and went crazy with all these yummy appetizers I got from B.B.'s. We had a pumkin carving contest and the Pitts totally won. Peyton even helped out with his eensy weensy pumpkin and a butter knife. I did the mud run with Amber and we ended the month with a fun trunk or treat at our ward. Peyton was superman this year and Sadie was tinkerbell. I was a pirate and Eric was himself.
Everthing is all blending together since it's been so long so I'm just going to finish updating.... and it may or may not be in order.
We made a trip down to the eastern shore of Maryland for my annual girl's night show of Twilight. We had a blast with our good friends.... love them!!! We all were sick for Thanksgiving so we were just giong to stay home and feel sorry for ourselves and such.... last minute we decided to join Eric's family and go to a community center that was providing Thanksgiving fo rthe public. It was delicious and I felt overcome with gratitude for volunteers and the wonderful peopel around me. I want to do that when our kids are a bit older!!! We made a trip down to the D.C. temple to see the lights and watch Jenny Oaks Baker in the Christmas series concert with the Poquitas and Shahans. As always, fun to be with them!!!
Forgot to mnetion we had a pie fest at our house.... a week before Thanksgiving. There were a bajillion pies and a bunch of fun peopel from our ward came over. You know I love a good party!!!
We had an early Christmas with Eri'cs family and his extended family, then we were on our way to Utah. Utah trip was a blast! Bro Zach got home form his mission, Lacey got home from Nepal and we just all soaked each other up!!! I will write it's own post later!!! Now we're home, Peyton's getting potty trained and Sadie's crawling.... aaahhhhhhhh
p.s. I LOVE having a blog. Just trying to write this update was such a great reminder that I need to be better at it so we can remember these memories forever. All these things were already fading in my mind.. Now prepare yourslef for a billion pictures. Because the sometimes can do all teh talking themselves
