We were over at our friend's the Kemps and Peyton found a bumblebee costume. He was really upset when it was time to go home and my friend Joy just told Peyton he could have it. It didn't fit anyone at their house anymore. He was happy as a ...... bee! Ha, So on the way to our next stop, he put his easter basket over his head to shield the sun and he was out!
Love this boy! He's at such a fun age that we can be silly together! He's so fun to have a converstaion with!
And One of his current obsessions is bad guys with light sabers and easter baskets. We were sword fighting with serving spoons and apparently having an easter bsket on the top of your head makes you a bad guy! Those were our bad guy faces
Crawling everywhere now!!! Her favortie room is Peyton's. All the toys are in there and they will play for hours together. But yes, occasionally I have to play referee!
Happy baby!! Still only two teeth in there!
So, a certain husband of mine sometimes does crazy things..... that's makes me have to work 10 times harder than I should. He put some sparkling apple cider in the freezer. Did YOU know that if you did that, it would explode. Peyton had a blast after I let him play with it in the sink while I cleaned and cleaned that freezer! Sheesh, no worries though, I still love him.
Peyton fell asleep on me the other day and I relish this soooooooooo much! He's getting to be such a big boy but in moments liek this, I just hold him breathing him in and think, "but he still is just a baby!" For pete's sake, he's only 2 1/2!!!
Now, back to the fact that he is just 2 1/2! He's curious that one. I walked into the kitchen after sitting in the living room, feeding a sick Sadie when I heard Peyton yell from the kitchen. "It's raining! It's raining." Indeed.
We had an "unbirthday" for him the other day. I think he saw soemthing on TV about blowing out candles and having birthday cake because he's been fixated on this idea. Well, I kept telling him I would make him a cake after we got eggs. Well, we went shopping for eggs...... so we started a birthday cake. He helped with a bucket load of sprinkles on top. We wrote Happy Unbirthday Peyton and stuck candles in. He blew them out and commenced digging right in, fingers and all.
There's his little chin that was glued shut. IT's still not completely healed but it's getting there.
My kids, my life! Love these two! I just like to squish them up all day!!!
My computer is being stupid and not letting me add the rest of the pictures so I'll have to do another Iphone picture update sooonnnnn........ peace.

This week
So..... I've got a little boy that sure is an accident waiting to happen! We went over to some good friend's of ours, the Kemps the other day for a game night. Peyton was just playing with one of their sons when he bust out crying. Blood everywhere......... we all thought it was coming from his mouth at first but alas, it was his chin. To make an enormously long story short..... at the game night that evening we had two friends that were nurses, and one friend that was a medical supplier that had all kinds of stuff in his house. We ended up gluing his chin shut! Just because I'm an anxious mess sometimes, we still went to the Urgent Care the next morning just to make sure everything was fine. It was perfect.... biggest waste of $40 we ever had.
He was such a brave boy through it all. Then this weekend we went up to D.C. for our friend's sealing. As Peyton was playing at the playground, he hit his chin again and reopened it. Oh brother! This child of mine. Wasn't as deep though and it looks just fine now!!!
Peyton had such a blast!!! Whenever we've met up with we Amber and Christian before we've always left him with them while we're in the temple. Up until just a couple months ago, he's had these serious attachment issues so when I told him he was going to play with Amber and Christian he kept fussing and saying he wanted to be with us and didn't want us in the temple. Well, on Saturday morning as Eric and I were leaving for the temple, Peyton came to me and said, "Peyton not go with you now, mommy. I stay wif Am-bee-bee. K?" I don't take this lightly..... that means he's seriously having fun!!!! They made chicken, and santa claus hand puppets, they colored, they played games on Amber's computer, they made chocolate chip cookies, Amber invited a couple other little boys from her ward over for a playgroup so he got to hang with friends, and they played at the park. And we were only gone 3ish hours. Yeah, he pretty much wanted to live with them forever!
The sealing was wonderful of course!!! I got to take pictures of the day!!! So fun! It was the first time I've done a wedding/sealing so I learned a lot but it was such a blast!!
Aidan's friends were wonderfully awkward! I have a billion pictures of them being so crazy!!!
This family should all model! After the temple, we went back to Amber's to pick up the kids then home again for a luncheon at the church. We were super late due to lots of traffic but we finally got there!! It was a fun luncheon including a chocolate fountain (i need one of those in my house)!!! Congrats to Aidan, Katelyn, and Emmytte!!!

Trouble
The other day I was just getting Sadie and I breakfast when I heard Peyton's little voice from the top of the stairs..... "mommyyyyyy???????" I went to the bottom of the stairs and I was greeted by this cute face....
Somebody left her makeup out on the windowsill in the room that this little ragamuffin woke up in. Of course it was entirely too tempting! Two days passed and I finally decided to stop looking like a ragamuffin myself and wear my makeup....... I love brow gel. It's just a clear gel that you apply to your eyebrows with a mascara looking brush. It makes your eyebrows stay in place so the hairs don't look all skuu wanpus. Wel......... looks like my brow gel is ruined. This is what I looked like after I tried to put my makeup on...
Dang, I love my kids!

Things I'm passionate about...
I love doing new things and trying anything once! Here are my true passions right now, this month, february 2013. Because let's be honest, some of them will change and I'll probably find other things to really love later. Snapshot in time for now...
#1. My hubby, and I'm pretty sure that that's not going to change!!! I'm so grateful for him! My love for him grows each and every day. Some things are not always easy but when I look back on those moments I'm so incredibly grateful for them because we grew closer as a couple! He is my other half!
#4. My Young women..... I love everything about them. This is the calling of a lifetime. Love working with them. Fun activities, fun girls, fun times! I spend many hours thinking, praying, and pondering on these girls.
#5. Photography! I've always loved photography but finally I'm taking the jump to start my own photography business. Eric got me Photoshop for Christmas so I'm just jumping in two feet first. I have sooooooooo much to learn yet but that's ok. Excited for the two weddings that I have booked!!!
#6. Haircuts! Must admit.... don't really like to color (like to highlight), and styling is not my favorite either but I sure love to cut hair!!!! This is one of my young women above... her hair had been way past her butt before I got a hold of it! Our own Rapunzel....
#7. Of course, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is everything I am. I most certainly should've listed this first..... because without the Gospel, I wouldn't be where I am today. I love everything about it!!! My strongest desire these days are to raise my children to love it just as much as I do!!
#8. Zumba!!! Oh man, I've loving it. Tryed it for the first time the other week and I'm hooked! I don't even feel like I'm exercising and I always leave class soaked in sweat! Timing isn't right, for right now but eventually I want to be a zumba instructor.
#9. Getting a good deal! I love living by B.B.'s to get grocery discounts!!! It is such a blessing! Love the after holiday sales!
#10. Family, friends, and many more!!!
There are a few that I really really want to play a bigger role in our lives... like, books. I haven't read a novel for such a long itme and I really miss it. Different styles of music, exercising with the kids, etc. Always more to do but I'm so happy where we are right now! I love my life!

#2. My two raggamuffins.... pretty sure that's not going to change either! These two have my heart and soul that's for dang sure. Everything I do can be traced back to my kids!! Eric and I just love these two like crazy!!!!
#3. Clean eating! Seriously.... I think about this alllll the dang time! Which meal to cook next, which foods to incorporate to get the healthiest me.... and family possible! I've been learning everything I can about clean eating for the last couple years. We've attempted this many times but failed. every. single. time! I'm pretty confident in the knowledge we have about it, and the awesome foods we still get to eat!!!! So finally, it's sticking for us! We've had more energy, my kids aren't as picky, health issues have resolved, weight loss, etc. There really is no negative in this whole situation.

Life lately....
For Valentine's Day, we went to Cluggy's amusement park as a family! Didn't take any pictures... dang it. But we did have a blast! Peyton is sooooo obsessed with arcade games so he just ran around looking at all the lights and pushing all the buttons. Eric got to do a couple rounds at the batting cages in there and Sadie just took everything in. We did end up hitting the jackpot so Peyton got a bajillion tickets for prizes! He especially had a fun time picking out everything..... tootsie rolls, stickers, slinkies, candy, ball... etc. One happy boy!
Sadie and Peyton kinda just chilled as we wrote the hearts and hung them but occasionally Peyton would chime in about what he wanted to say!
I definitely think this is an east coast thing but it was "fasnaught day" on tuesday last week. Pretty big deal around here. Fasnaughts are donuts, I think it's german. Well, up at the farm they had dozens and dozens of donuts.... so Eric brought some home to us! Sadie's a fan!
Peyton occasionally throws tantrums. Who am I kidding....... he throws one at least once a day.
I follow Sadie around like a little puppy. Even with vacuuming once a day, she always finds little things on the floor. Stink bugs, crumbs, little pieces of paper, you name it. No matter how many toys are surrounding her, she will ignore all of those and go straight for what she can't have. She keeps us on our toes.
Sprinkle love! Probably ranked in this kid's top five these days. We went post valentine shopping for some sweet deals and found a bunch of heart sprinkles. This is what happened the minute we got home. Sometimes you have to choose your battles. sigh....
All of our windows were replaced yesterday! Hallelujah! They look so wonderful! I can't believe what a huge difference it makes in our house. I absolutely LOVE them. Brainstorming some MAJOR thank you gestures for Eric's boss.
Sadie thinks it's time to climb stairs now. Honestly could've waited for that milestone a couple more months.
We love food coloring and all the projects we can do with it!!!!
Peyton's big thing lately is making sand castles as well. Shhhhhhhh, don't tell him that corn starch isn't sand.
I have the hardest time taking a decent picture of Sadie. She is always on turbo speed and can never get her to look at the camera..... even when she occasionally is, she does some crazy face. I feel like I have hundreds of crazy Sadie face pictures..... love her!
The other night I was halfway asleep when I heard a little voice say to me, "look at my boo goo mommy." Being on the brink of sleep I had thought he'd said, "boo-boo". Going to kiss it better, it wasn't till his finger was against my lips that I realized, "shoot, he said booger." Nice
Sadie pulls herself to standing, crawls everywhere, dances to music, blows raspberries, eats lots of solids as well as baby food, and has recently become a little mommy's girl. Needs to be held quite a bit. She takes naps horribly if I try to put her in her bed.... but if she's in her carseat, she'll sleep the day away. At least she sleeps well in her bed at night.
Peyton is really into Doc McStuffins adn he conducts checkups around here all the time. He'll tell me that I have bad eyes, bad ears, and bad everything. Good thing my self esteem is grounded huh? ha. Peyton is learning his ABC's and can count to ten. When he throws a tantrum these days, I will let him know that that is not a good choice and he can choose to sit in timeout or choose to be happy and he'll always tell me, "NOOOOOOO mommy, I'm a bad guy. Me mad!" well then. He put in a hoobastank CD the other day and told me that was bad music. He's just hyper aware of everything "bad" lately. If there is a picture of a person scowling or simply without a smile.... it's a bad guy! He's really sensitive to different TV shows, which I'm grateful for. It surprises me sometimes though. He only likes watching thigns if they're 100% positive..... even in Jake and the Neverland pirates... he gets upset sometimes about Hook. Tender soul.
Well, that's about it for the day
